I am passionate about Cornelius! I have worked hard over the years to promote and support a fantastic quality of life within our town.

Issues In Cornelius

Simply stated, my priorities are exactly those of the citizens of Cornelius. I will be a strong advocate for traffic, safety, recreation, and our economy.

We need your help, we need volunteers to donate, phone bank, knock on doors, get out the vote, and help our campaign succeed.

Vote Denis Bilodeau Mayor Of Cornelius NC

I believe a healthy exchange of ideas during campaign season is important for all elected positions including Mayor. As an incumbent, knowing that in two years you will have competition for your seat should bring a stronger sense of urgency and accountability. The current mayor has run unopposed during the past three elections. During the last election, over 400 voters indicated a desire for alternative candidates by “ write in” ballot.

I have served as President of a large HOA and several local non profits. As a former Fortune 500 insurance company senior executive, founder of a successful Cornelius based small business and 3 term town commissioner, I will bring strong leadership skills and experience to the role of Mayor. I have recently retired and will apply a full time effort to the position, including regular office hours at Town Hall to accommodate drop in visits.
